New Jersey's Safe Haven Infant Protection Act allows an individual to give up an infant safely, legally and anonymously. The parents - or someone acting on their behalf - can leave an unharmed baby less than 30 days old with staff at any hospital, police station, fire station, ambulance, first aid or rescue squad. The New Jersey Department of Children and Families will ensure that the infant is placed with a foster or pre-adoptive home.

Rachel's VineyardRachel's Vineyard weekends for healing after abortion are offered throughout the year in locations across the United States and Canada, with additional sites around the world. Rachel’s Vineyard is a ministry of Priests for Life.The retreat is an opportunity to examine your abortion experience, identify the ways that the loss has impacted you in the past and present, and helps to acknowledge any unresolved feelings that many individuals struggle with after abortion. These buried feelings can surface later and may be symptoms of post abortion trauma.

DPD operates 10 group homes, 1 supervised apartments, a day habilitation program, support coordination services, a Saturday program for young adults, recreational opportunities and spiritual support. Based out of Morris County, and offering assistance throughout 3 New Jersey counties, DPD provides help and creates hope for over 300 individuals with intellectual and development disabilities.

Volunteer with DPD to enhance lives by giving opportunities for individualized attention or structured activities beyond what staff already do for persons with disabilities.
